Nuclear industry is used to manufacture equipment for uranium extraction and isotope separation, seamless water pipelines, steam pipes, sea water exchangers and evaporators in power plants, sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid environments, crude oil distillation, pump shafts and propellers of equipment for seawater use, equipment for uranium extraction and isotope separation in nuclear industry, pumps and valves for equipment for hydrochloric acid production.

Monel 400 alloy (UNS N04400 or MCu-28-1.5-1.8 or Ni68Cu28Fe) is a nickel-based alloy material with good corrosion resistance in seawater, chemical solvents, ammonia, sulfur, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, various acidic media such as sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, organic acid, alkaline medium, salt and molten salt.

Monel 400 alloy also has good mechanical properties. It is widely used from low temperature to high temperature. It has good welding properties and medium and high strength.

Monel 400 is mainly used in chemical, petrochemical and marine development fields. It can be used to manufacture various heat exchangers, boiler feed water heaters, petroleum and chemical pipelines, containers, towers, troughs, valves, pumps, reaction kettles, shafts, etc.

Execution Standards: ASTM B 164 (rod, thread), ASTM B 564 (forging), ASTM B 127 (plate, belt), ASTM B 165 (seamless tube).
